Purpose of the role

Lead the strategy, operations and financial sustainability of a leading organization in the entertainment, trade fairs and exhibitions sector in Colombia and Latin America, securing its position as a regional benchmark and engine of economic development for the country.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organization's strategic plan with a long-term vision.
  • Manage the full P&L: revenue, profitability, cash flow and working capital.
  • Develop and consolidate commercial alliances with national and international fair and event organizers.
  • Lead the transformation and diversification of the business model toward new value segments.
  • Ensure operational excellence in the execution of large-scale events.
  • Manage relationships with the public sector, industry associations and international organizations.
  • Build high-performance teams and a results-oriented organizational culture.

Role KPIs

  • Net revenue and EBITDA per season / year.
  • Number of national and international fairs and events managed.
  • Infrastructure occupancy and utilization.
  • Exhibitor and visitor satisfaction.
  • Return on assets (ROA) and return on invested capital (ROIC).
  • Regional market share growth.

Required profile

  • Strategic vision with execution capability in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the public sector, private sector and international organizations.
  • Experience negotiating high-value contracts and alliances.
  • Inspiring leadership with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expert command of financial indicators and data-driven decision making.
