Purpose of the role

Lead the technological and digital transformation of a manufacturing company in the primary plastics sector, ensuring the modernization of its production systems, operational efficiency and the development of digital capabilities that sustain its long-term competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the organization's technology and digital transformation strategy.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP, MES and plant control platforms.
  • Manage technology infrastructure: networks, IT security, cloud and critical production systems.
  • Develop Industry 4.0 projects: industrial IoT, automation, digital twins and data analytics.
  • Align the technology innovation agenda with operations, commercial and R&D teams.
  • Manage strategic technology vendors and technology contracts.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and operational continuity of technology systems.

Role KPIs

  • Uptime of critical production systems.
  • Automation level of key processes (technology-driven OEE improvement).
  • Operating cost reduction through technology initiatives.
  • Project implementation time vs. schedule.
  • Digital maturity level (Digital Maturity Index).
  • Cybersecurity incidents and response time.

Required profile

  • Strategic vision of technology as a business enabler.
  • Deep knowledge of industrial architectures (OT/IT) and their integration.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Ability to communicate the technology agenda to senior leadership.
  • Results orientation with a focus on ROI of technology investments.
